Alena Hegde writes to delight and to remind of the importance of a discovery — of places, people, and, most importantly, oneselves.

As a reader, she is especially fond of magic realism, fantasy, sci-fi, and supernatural satire genres.
Her favorite books, to name a few, are "Alice in Wonderland" by L.Carroll, "100 Years of Solitude" by G.G.Marquez, "Gods Themselves" by I.Asimov, "Metamorphosis" by F.Kafka, "Dead Souls" by N.Gogol, "The Master and Margarita" by M.Bulgakov, "Ordinary Grace" by W.Krueger, "Siddhartha" by H.Hesse.

When she isn't busy crafting novels, she explores the nature, hikes, and looks for new reasons to laugh.

She believes that every story, no matter how grand, is rooted in the timeless themes of love, loss, and the eternal quest for meaning.
